“She is a graduate of Columbus State University of Georgia. She is also a live performer, instructor, and Storyteller. She was born on Thursday, December 30, 1971, in the small town of Weston, Webster County, GA. Her father named her LaSada Ruth Lloyd. Her parents are the late Mr. Verdell Lloyd and Mrs. Ruby Nell (McCrary) Lloyd. LaSada was raised in (Brownwood) Dawson, GA. She enjoyed her humble, childhood upbringing. She was introduced to Jesus at an early age by her adult cousin-in-law, Nathaniel Sweeting, Sr. Growing up in the countryside of rural Terrell County, she gained a love and appreciation for nature. LaSada attended the public school system of Terrell County. She is the third of four sisters; Sheila, Phyllis, and Ruby Denise (deceased).
She was an active member of the 4-H Club throughout her school years. She sewed her first garment (a dress) and modeled in her first fashion show as a 4th grade 4-Her. She attributes her public speaking skills, love for fashion and modeling, and growth & development to 4-H. Moreover, she got married, served as a local missionary, and worked through many jobs to a career in Customer Service with Aflac to retirement. She went through divorce, death of loved ones, vehicle & home purchases and losses to relocation to Atlanta, Ga in order to pursue her dreams and goals. She worked through a few part time jobs until temporarily relocating to Boston, MA. Life’s transitions have taken LaSada through a variety of winding roads. After graduating as a Vocational Honor student from Terrell High School, her father convinced her to attend college.
Simultaneously, “LaSada obtained a Diploma of Administration from Turner Job Corp Center and an Associate’s Degree in Business Computer Systems from Darton College of Albany State University”. Other educational credentials include: “Certification in General Business from Bristol University in Bristol, Tennessee”; “Certification in Professional Customer Service from Columbus Technical College in Columbus, Georgia“; “Certification in teaching/tutoring from Literacy Alliance in Columbus, GA”; “Missionary license from Bread of Life Christian Center in Columbus, GA”; “Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia”; “Certification in Performing Arts from Actors Models & Talent for Christ (AMTC) in Marietta, Georgia; Training Certification in Acting & Modeling from Barbizon Model School in Tampa,FL”; and “TESOL online teaching certificate from VIPKid International”.
LaSada is a mother and grandmother. Her oldest daughters are LeSeandria CheNell, mother of Jackson Elias; and JaBrienna TreNeece, mother of Ahliyana Kathalaya, Aihden Emiliano, and Josiyah Alonzo. Her son is JaCorrie Germaine Williams and her youngest daughter is LeDeighja Noble Williams. She is also certified and trained in First Aid, CPR, and MDOT Driver. In August 2021, she became an AmeriCorps Fellow, where she serves in the Tenacity Program as an Academic Coordinator at Umana Middle School in East Boston, MA. LaSada relies heavily on her faith in Jesus Christ as she continues to grow in the knowledge and grace of God.
